MEET THE KEITHS .
Steven and Megan began their dating story in 2014. Through a circuitous route (which included a breakup), they found their way to the marriage altar in 2016 and have since developed a deep appreciation for the values identification process that God led them through as a dating couple. Lifelong believers in the Apostolic truth, both Megan and Steven are passionate about serving the Kingdom and building a life built on Biblically-informed principles.
The Synchrony Project is the product of a conviction that God does not wish for His people to be lonely, and a desire to see every couple benefit from the type of values-driven marriage that they treasure. Megan brings her graduate work in the Social Sciences to the Synchrony approach, especially the anthropological and sociological research methods for collecting qualitative data via interviews and surveys. Steven brings his technical and entrepreneurial gifting to the project, and together they co-host The Synchrony Podcast in the hope of inspiring change within Apostolic dating culture and forever ending loneliness in the Church. They live in Gainesville, Florida and attend the Pentecostals of Gainesville with their two young children.
THE SYNCHRONY PHILOSOPHY
1. ALIGNMENT > ATTRACTION
Dating relationships and marriages crumble due to misaligned values and unmet expectations. The World elevates attraction and romance above the core values that make marriages work; we put them at the forefront. You will only be introduced to matches who want to live the life you feel called to live.
2. TRANSPARENCY > MYSTERY
We ask about your boundaries and ‘deal breakers,’ and evaluate potential matches against those criteria before you ever meet.
3. VALUES > PREFERENCES
We focus first on the things that really matter in making relationships work: location, parenting preference, ministerial calling, goals, and financial health. Only when those criteria are met will we hone in on matches who match your physical preferences and share common interests.
